NOTE FROM THE EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

While some diehard fans may argue that the genre hasn't gone anywhere, horror films have made a strong "comeback" recently. This latest success bolsters the belief that new generations of horror fans are created every day.  Slice Pictures plans to take advantage of this.

It is not our intention to produce SLICE as just another "slasher" film.  As filmmakers, we are fans of horror. Our story involves elements of friendship, trust, sacrifice, forgiveness, and revenge that have been blended with an exhilarating action plot.  We believe this will have a positive reaction on audiences.

We propose to make SLICE in Virginia to exploit economical production costs and longstanding industry relationships. This will allow us to make this picture for the modest budget of $800,000.

Slice Pictures is committed to creating a quality, entertaining and profitable picture.  We wouldn't dedicate the time and energy into this undertaking if we weren't confident we could deliver a thrilling film that not only entertains, but also remains faithful to, the horror genre.
